NY State Standards		Number Operations: 1. Understand numbers, ways of representing numbers, relationships among numbers, and number systems 2. Use factors, multiples, prime factorization, and relatively prime numbers to solve problems 3. (A.CN.1) Understand and make connections among multiple representations of the same mathematical idea
Instructional Focus		Students will be able to perform basic operations in modular (clock) arithmetic
Performance Task		1. Using the computer, students will complete clock arithmetic activities. 2. Students will complete Clock Arithmetic Exploration questions.
Essential Skills		1. Have knowledge of multiples and remainders 2. Perform integer and rational arithmetic, including multiplicative inverses 3. Work with simple algebraic expressions
