We have been hearing a lot about anthrax in the news lately. Without information, the idea of anthrax infection is very scary. The goal of this project is to give us all more information about this sometimes dangerous bacteria. By learning more about anthrax, we will all be able to calm our fears and help others understand what this mysterious bacteria is all about.
This project has two parts. You and your group members are public relations officials for Shaker Junior High School. Your ultimate goal is to educate the students and faculty of the school about anthrax and its dangers. The first part of the project involves your group researching information about anthrax. To do this you will answer a series of questions using a variety of web sites that I have selected for you. The second part of this project is to develop a pamphlet, handout or advertisement that could be used to educate the Shaker Junior High School population.
